I am Bonnie Gerber Durkin, "The Mitzvah Maven". I have made contact with almost every Bar/Bat Mitzvah vendor in Northern New Jersey and can assist you in planning every phase of your upcoming simcha. No party is too large or too small to require my attention to every detail. Call me if you need help selecting your vendors, like photographers, videographers, and your deejay or entertainment company. I'll provide you with some great ideas for party themes and put you in contact with designers to create your centerpieces and the decor for your party. Selecting favors can be a tricky business, but I'll get you the right products at the right price. Once the day of your child's Mitzvah arrives you can hire me, the Mitzvah Maven, to provide onsite management to relieve you of the stress of dealing with the vendors and making sure all the details are aligned. In fact, one of my satisfied clients referred to me as "her valium."
I am a Jewish woman who understands all the demands made on the Mitzvah Mom, for I too was once a Mitzvah Mom and survived the ordeal. My experience in planning my twin sons' B'Nai Mitzvah enabled me to fully comprehend all the demands required in planning such an immense project. I started my career in the Bar/Bat Mitzvah industry as the owner of D-Vision Video, a videography company specializing in videotaping and editing social events, most specifically Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. After working with different vendors every weekend, I developed relationships with those I thought were the very best.
